Religious Education

Faith formation is catechesis (teaching the Catholic faith) which aims to deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ through educational and enrichment opportunities. It is designed to touch the intellect as well as the heart. These programs help people live and experience a more Christ-centered life. Sacrament of Reconciliation & 1^st Communion:
Students enrolled and 2^nd grade Faith Formation.

Confession Times
Monte Vista: Confession Saturday 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. or
by appointment
Del Norte: Temporarily Closed
South Fork: Confession Saturday after Mass
Creede: Confession Saturday 3:30 p.m. until 3:50 p.m.

Confirmation:
Confirmation classes will be offered on Sunday’s from 11:15 to 12:30.

Sacramental Records Request
If candidate for sacraments was baptized in the San Juan Catholic Community, this form must be completed and turned into the St. Joseph’s Church Office.

Marriage: By appt with Priest or Deacon six months prior to your
wedding date.

Baptism: Please call Office for information on this Sacrament.

Quinceañera: Enrolled in Religious Ed, Quinceañera Classes and
fees paid to book date. Call office for more information.

Sacramental Anointing: By appointment or upon request.
